For CDL and non-CDL owner-operators
Hotshot dispatch that books loads your rig can legally haul
We only dispatch hotshots. Our dispatchers find and negotiate loads that fit your truck, your trailer and your weight limits, handle the broker paperwork, and send you every load to approve before it is booked.

What you get
What our hot shot dispatch service covers
A hotshot dispatcher works for you, the carrier. We work the phones and the load boards so you can stay in the seat. Everything on this ticket comes with the 7% fee.
You see the broker's full rate confirmation on every load, and our fee is figured from that number. We are a dispatch service working for you, not a broker and not a load board.
- Load sourcingMajor load boards plus our direct broker and shipper contacts.
- Rate negotiationWe counter on every load. The first number a broker posts is rarely the last.
- Broker setupYour carrier packet goes out ready, so a new broker takes minutes.
- Weight checkLoad weight and dimensions checked against your ratings before we say yes.
- Check callsPickup, in-transit and delivery updates to the broker, handled.
- Reload planningThe next load is lined up before you unload, with deadhead counted.
- ClaimsDetention, layover and TONU chased with the broker until paid.
- Weekly reportGross, miles, rate per mile and the fee, in one report each week.
- Nights and weekendsDispatchers on the phone when brokers post late freight.
Who we dispatch
Setups our hotshot dispatchers book for
One-ton to medium-duty pickups pulling gooseneck, bumper-pull and car-hauler trailers on 20 to 40 ft decks, with or without a CDL. Pick your setup to see the freight we would look for.
EXAMPLE setup: non-CDL, gooseneck flatbed, 40 ft deck. Pick license, trailer and deck length here to see what changes.
- Ag and construction equipment, one or two machines
- Expedited partials and hot parts, oilfield and industrial
- Light, bulky freight: trusses, panels, tanks, pallets
- Loads where every pound is counted against your payload
On a non-CDL 40 ft setup, the trailer is usually derated so the combination stays at 26,000 lb or under. That leaves a few thousand pounds of payload, so we price by weight as much as by miles.

Weight-legal booking
Every load gets a weight check before we book it
A load your rig can't legally pull costs more than it pays. Before we accept anything, we check its weight against your truck's GVWR, your trailer's GVWR and, on non-CDL setups, the 26,000 lb combination limit. Try your own ratings.
Truck GVWR is on the driver's door-jamb sticker. Trailer GVWR is on the trailer's VIN plate, usually on the neck or front crossmember. Not sure you need a CDL? Our non-CDL hotshot requirements guide covers the rule line by line.
EXAMPLE: a 14,000 lb GVWR dually pulling a gooseneck with its VIN plate showing 12,000 lb.
Add the two ratings: 26,000 lb. The trailer is rated over 10,000 lb, so the 26,001 lb line applies. At 26,000 lb this combination stays non-CDL. One more pound of rating on either unit and it needs a Class A.
No CDL needed
Rule: 49 CFR 383.91(a)(1).

One flat fee: 7% of gross load pay
No setup fee, no minimums, month to month, cancel with 30 days notice. The fee applies only to loads you haul, so if you don't haul, you don't pay. Fleets of 2 or more trucks pay 6% per truck (limited-time).

What does a hotshot dispatcher do?
A hotshot dispatcher finds loads for your truck, negotiates the rate with the broker, sets you up with new brokers and handles the calls and paperwork while you drive. The dispatcher works for you, the carrier, and books under your MC authority with your OK on every load.
Is a hotshot dispatcher the same as a freight broker?
No. A broker is hired by the shipper and holds its own broker authority. A dispatcher is hired by the carrier. We negotiate with brokers for you, and the broker pays you (or your factoring company) directly.
Do I need my own MC number to use your dispatch service?
Yes. We book loads under your own operating authority, so you need an active USDOT number, MC authority and insurance on file. If your authority is still in progress, apply anyway and we will be ready when it goes active. Our startup guide walks through every registration.
Will you dispatch a brand-new MC authority?
Yes, at the same 7%. Some brokers won't load an MC under a certain age, so the first weeks can take more calls. We lean on brokers who set up new carriers and tell you plainly how the search is going.
Can I turn down a load you find?
Every time. Each load comes to you with the rate, loaded and empty miles, weight, and pickup and delivery windows before it is booked. If it doesn't work for you, we keep looking. Nobody on our desk forces a load.
Do you guarantee loads or a weekly income?
No, and be careful with anyone who does. Rates and freight volume move with the market and the season. What we commit to is the work: searching, calling and negotiating on every load, with the numbers in front of you.
How do I compare hotshot dispatch companies?
The best hotshot dispatch services put a few things in writing: the fee, month-to-month terms, your right to approve every load, and the broker's full rate confirmation on each load. Ask how they check weight on non-CDL loads. Walk away from long contracts or anyone who won't show you the rate.
Do you dispatch semis, box trucks or other equipment?
No. We only dispatch hotshots: one-ton to medium-duty pickups pulling gooseneck, bumper-pull and car-hauler trailers.
